We recently received the results of our first-ever independent survey of families registered in Music Together of Bay Ridge. 100% of recent families who responded said they were "Very Satisfied" (82%) or "Satisfied" (18%) with our program. 100% said they were "Very Likely" to recommend our program to their friends! Thanks for appreciating our program. We love what we do, and we couldn't do it without you!
If you live in Bay Ridge, Bensonhurst, Sheepshead Bay, Marine Park, Flatbush or Mill Basin, come check us out, and you may find yourself joining the chorus of enthusiastic Brooklyn families.

"We enjoy it just as much as the kids."
"To see an 8 month dance to swing music is something every parent should experience!"
"I am so glad I found Music Together! We have SO much fun there and at home with all the songs and dances we learn! I really cant believe how much H_____is getting from the class."
"We are delighted with our son's musical growth, and the relaxed, spontaneous way he will break into songs and chants."
"Thank you for the great and fun introduction to the beautiful world of music! We love it."
"I was amazed at how much my 18-month old responded to the CD. It is her favorite music for car rides. . . Bravo!"
"It’s great program for families with young children. I didn’t know many children’s songs before, now I have a whole collection."
"I am so sad to be
writing this e-mail. For the first time in four years, my son D. will not be
enrolling in a Music Together class. We attended our first class when he was
barely five months old. Music Together has helped both of us learn how to
"play" with music. We built our basic music competency together.
Now he's starting pre-K . . . I don't want to overschedule him, and something had to give.
I knew this day would come, and I am just as sad as I expected I would be.
We did full semesters
with Adam, Suzanne, Jeanine, Amanda, and Johann. All of them were wonderful and
gifted. We were also fortunate to do make-up classes with Bill, Seung-Hee,
Donetta, and Melissa. Every teacher had something special to offer.
We play the CDs in the
car and the house, and we've been known to sing a cappella when we are out and
about. So the good news is that the music will not stop.
This truly is a
fantastic program that we enjoyed immensely. I will continue to recommend it."
"Our daughter has grown so much in her love for music...she wants to play every instrument she sees and wants to sing and dance all the time. I am thrilled with the love for music that she has developed and will definitely continue with her classes next semester"
"My sons and I really enjoy our music classes. Our teacher's enthusiasm is contagious and of course her
patience is always very appreciated. I especially loved how she engaged and involved my 4 yr old in a class full of babies/toddlers. Many thanks."
"Thank you so much! for the wonderful experience. As a grandparent, I am truly sorry Music Together was not available when raising my daughter! It’s a marvelous teaching tool!"
"I had to share this story: This week my 2.5 year old son, Y____, came down with croup. In the evening my husband and I had to rush him to the emergency room with an incredibly high fever and difficulty breathing, to say the least the situation was scary. He was given a steroid injection and was put on a nebulizer as well as a fever reducer. After a long stay we were finally released and sent home. On the way home Y____, feeling much better, started repeating, "no home Mama, no home!" Humored at our son's lack of understanding about what he just put us through, we asked him where he would like to go, his reply, "Music Class." My husband and I were belly laughing, he continued to repeat over and over, "Music class please, see teacher John!" The only way he finally understood that we had to go home and NOT Music was that, "teacher John was sleeping and we did not have baby brother with us!" Thank you Music Together for bringing us humor when we needed it most!"
“My child really came into his own musically in the class! We both enjoyed it immeasurably. It was wonderful for my child!”
"I love how loving and caring [the teachers] are towards the kids."
"My daughter LOVES the class. We both look forward to going every Friday morning. She has been singing and dancing alot more than she did before she started this class. When brushing her teeth we sing a song and it has help us both out alot. As many parents know how hard it can be getting your toddler to brush her teeth. I also wanted to share that our teacher is really great! She makes it so much fun for the parents and the children. We love her! Thanks again. We are very happy that our child loves making music and has learned many fun ways to do it by attending this"
"Just wanted to let you know that the program has been amazing for us. I am looking forward to continuing in our new town. We enjoyed working with all the instructors we met, especially J___. He is a wonderful person, musician and teacher. Thank you so much for running this great program."
"My daughter B_____ absolutely loves BR Music Together, you guys run a fantastic program. She's been attending since she was a baby. I can't believe how she runs around and sings "clean up" " clean up" while she's picking up her toys---something that Donetta taught her to do:)"
"We love [our teacher's] enthusiasm, energy, playfulness, and obvious love of children."
"My kids recognize the location as soon as we are in the neighborhood. My kids love singing all the songs. They sing them in the bathtub and car. They call [their teacher's] name all the time. – '[My teacher] sings this!!'"
"The K____ family and me, Aunt M____, want to thank you for the many wonderful hours [my niece] has had of listening and learning. She has gained a great appreciation of music - which she has put to good use in her dance classes. There is not a day she is in my car, that we are not listening to one of the many CD's we've accumulated over the years - and I'm sure we'll be listening to them for many more years."
"Last semester was our first experience with Music Together. I have to say that I was imagining this to be some kind of a hippie drum circle experience, not quite sure if it would be something we'd stick with. Our experience thus far has gone way beyond my highest expectations! My 21 month old son, R____, adores the class. Although he spends much of his time running and seems to not pay much attention at times, he is actually singing at home now when we listen to the CD (and even when we're not listening to it!). It's all we listen to in the car and I use the music book to play on our piano at home too. R____ has always been interested in music, but this class has really allowed him to blossom. We sing all the time at home now--changing diapers, getting dressed, cooking food. We're always singing. Trot Old Joe is the first song that my son ever "sang". It was music to my ears. He enjoys the drums in class and does well with rhythms. We participate in Gymboree as well, but that class does nothing to hold his interest and once we leave the class, he does not apply any of the skills taught. Music Together is different. He will pay attention in Music Together and when we get home, I can see the learning continue through daily play. It has absolutely become a part of our daily life in ways I never would have imagined. And at his young age, I wasn't quite sure if the results would be as "visible" as they are. I am impressed with the curriculum and our teacher, Jeanine, is wonderful. She's so patient and great with kids. My son is very shy and doesn't warm up to people, however he seems interested in her and sometimes interacts with her, which is a huge step for him. The
Thank you for offering this program and I look forward to more classes in the future."
